Effect of Different Types of Mulches on Yield of Pumpkin in Salt Affected Soil

For reducing soil salinity and obtaining a sustainable yield, low-cost farmer-friendly method is required for pumpkin, well-liked vegetable. Accordingly, field experiment was carried out in Salinity Management Research Center, Soil Resource Development Institute, Batiaghata, Khulna during Kharif-1 season of 2021 to investigate the effect different types mulches on yield pumpkin. The includes three treatments viz. no mulch (control), straw mulching paper. Randomized Complete Block Design with four replications. recorded at 30 days intervals.
